What JamaicaRepo is, what it is not, and the basis on which you use it.

These terms cover your use of www.jamaicarepo.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
JamaicaRepo is a free, independent directory of repossessed properties and vehicles offered for sale by banks, credit unions and government agencies in Jamaica. It is run by one individual based in the United Kingdom and is not a company. You can reach us at contact@jamaicarepo.com.
JamaicaRepo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any institution listed on the site.
We do not own, sell, broker, value or inspect any property or vehicle shown on this site, and we are not an estate agent, auctioneer, dealer or adviser. Every asset belongs to, or is being sold by, the institution named against it.
All enquiries, viewings, bids and purchases take place directly between you and that institution, on its terms. We are not a party to any sale and we take no payment or commission from one.
Listings on this site are collected from information that institutions publish themselves, such as spreadsheets, PDF schedules and web pages. Much of it is collected automatically, usually once a month. Each listings page shows the date its information was collected.
That means:
Always confirm every detail with the institution before you make a decision, travel to a viewing, or submit a bid.
Some listings include a link to photographs held on another website, such as a bank's own listing page or a real estate listing service. We do not host those photographs. We match each link to a listing by hand and check it periodically, but a link may be out of date or may, by mistake, show a different property or vehicle. Confirm with the institution that the photographs are of the asset you are interested in.
The guides, articles, data analysis and tools on this site, including the budget calculator, are general information only. They are not legal, financial, tax, mortgage, valuation, surveying or mechanical advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy or bid on anything.
Figures produced by the budget calculator and any price ranges in our guides are estimates for planning. Actual costs, taxes, fees and prices will differ.
Repossessed assets are generally sold "as is, where is", with no warranty. Before you commit to a purchase, take advice from suitably qualified people, such as an attorney-at-law and a surveyor for a property, or a mechanic for a vehicle.
The site links to websites run by institutions and other third parties. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or how they handle your information. A link is not an endorsement.
The site may display advertisements supplied by Google. We do not choose the individual advertisers, and an advertisement appearing here is not a recommendation by us. No institution pays to be listed on JamaicaRepo or to be shown more prominently.
If you sign up for email alerts, we will send you a periodic digest of listings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. The same cautions about accuracy in section 3 apply to anything in those emails. How we handle your email address is explained in our privacy policy.
The design of this site and the guides, articles, analysis and tools we have written belong to JamaicaRepo. You are welcome to use the site for your own purposes, to share links to it, and to quote short passages with a link back to the page.
Please do not republish substantial parts of the site, or copy it in bulk by automated means, without asking us first.
The names, logos and published listing information of the institutions shown on this site belong to those institutions. They are used here only to identify whose listings are being described.
If you find something wrong, tell us at contact@jamaicarepo.com and we will correct it. If you represent an institution and want a listing corrected, updated or removed, email us from your institutional address and we will act on it promptly.
The site is provided free of charge and "as is". We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free from errors, complete, up to date, or always online, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it. This includes losses arising from a bid, purchase or other decision you make, from travelling to view an asset, or from an asset turning out to be different from how it was described.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute about them or about your use of the site can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any rights that the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be removed by agreement.
